The Holy Grail is wild
The Holy Grail is a wild symbol in Monty Python’s Spamalot slot. This wild symbol can substitute for any ordinary symbol, but not for any of the special symbols, i.e. not for the scatter symbol or the bonus symbol or the jackpot symbol.
Free spins mode
The scatter symbol bears the text “Monty Python Scatter”. If you get at least three scatter symbols, anywhere on the reels, the free spins mode starts and you are given 10 free spins.
In free spins mode, the scatter symbol never makes in appearance. Instead, the jackpot symbol may show up. (The jackpot symbol is not available in the base game; only in free spins mode.) The jackpot symbol is the key to the Monty Python’s Spamalot Jackpot Game. You can read more about the jackpot game below.
The jackpot game
To trigger the Monty Python’s Spamalot Jackpot Game, you must get a total of 5 jackpot symbols or more. This can only happen in free spin mode. What’s interesting is that you don’t have to get 5 jackpot symbols lining up or even during one free spin – every jackpot symbol that appears while you are in free spins mode will be remembered and if you reach a total of five, the jackpot game will start.
Your job during the jackpot game is to climb a hill and reach the Holy Grail. Several obstacles are there for you to overcome, such as the knight, the chicken and the monster. It is up to you to select your opponent, one for each level of the hill. If you come out successful, you receive coin and the jackpot game continues. If you lose, a big foot from the sky will put an end to the jackpot game.
At the last step of the jackpot game, you get to pick one of two options without knowing what prize they hide. One choice will give you the Monty Python’s Spamalot Holy Grail jackpot, while the other will give you the Monty Python’s Sapamalot Slightly Less Jackpot instead.
4 bonus games
The bonus symbol for the Monty Python’s Spamalot slot is a foot coming down from a cloud. You need one foot on the first reel and another foot on the fifth reel simultaneously to trigger a bonus game.
The first time you trigger a bonus game, you get to play Storm the Castle. The second time you trigger a bonus game, you get to play None Shall Pass. The third time, you get to play The Knights who say Ni, and the fourth time you get to play Killer Rabbit. The fifth time, you start over again with Storm the Castle.
Storm the Castle
You storm the castle, but the inhabitants try to protect themselves by throwing out cows. Chose wisely were to position yourself to avoid being hit. If you get hit by a cow, the bonus game is over.
None Shall Pass
You want to pass the Black Knight, but he refuses to let you. You must challenge him and cut of his limbs. You start out with a 5x win multiplier, and each time you fail to cut off a limb this multiplier gets smaller. Each time you successfully cut off a limb, you are awarded with coins that are multiplied by your current multiplier.
The Knights who say Ni
Your task is to provide The Knights who say Ni with a branch. The better the branch you give them is, the more they will offer to pay for it. If you accept the price, you get that and the bonus game is over. If you decline, you must find another branch and try again. Be careful though, because you can not offer them more than three branches. Your third offer will automatically be your last.
The Killer Rabbit can be defeated with holy hand grenades. Each one of your six knights has brought a holy hand grenade, and you must decide for him where to throw it. If the rabbit is hit, you get money. If the rabbit is not hit, the rabbit will kill the knight.
